Born out of the Erasmus+ project <strong data-start=\"491\" data-end=\"556\">DISC \u2013 Developing Innopreneurship, Sustainability and Culture<\/strong>, the network brings together higher education institutions, vocational and adult education providers, and sustainability practitioners to co-create and deliver transformative learning opportunities.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"1189\">At its core, the DISC Network promotes <strong data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"842\">Design-Based Collaborative Learning (DBCL)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"893\">Design-Based Collaborative Research (DBCR)<\/strong> as dynamic, interdisciplinary methods to equip learners with the competences needed to tackle sustainability challenges. DBCR, as defined in the DISC framework, is an interdisciplinary, practice-oriented research approach that integrates the principles of Design Thinking with empirical scientific methods to solve
