In the same year, he moved to Germany where he took part in the European project BestPass within the Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions. In this context, he carried out intensive research and development at a biotechnology company with the aim of bringing improved microbial products to the market. During the same period, he collaborated with the Leibniz institute in Gro\u00dfbeeren and the Humboldt University in Berlin. During 2019 he returned to Italy, where he consulted on the design and development of start-ups in the biotechnology field. He also has held the position of Head of Research and Development in an Italian biotech company for which he was responsible for, among other things, product development and the management of numerous national and international projects.
