Dr. Leena Ferogh is an educational researcher, trainer and project manager working the University of Kassel since 2008. Since 2005 she has been working in numerous projects on educational and environmental issues. During this time she has gained a lot of experience in the management of European funded projects including financial management. Currently she is the financial manager of the Interreg NWE project CASCADE (Circular Conversion Cascades to Transform Residual Biomass to Carbon Products). However her main thematic focus is on intercultural issues. She holds a a PhD in educational sciences which she has earned in connection with her research done in the European project INTEGRATION – Intercultural dialogue for a multicultural society in Europe (2005-2006). Since then she also works as an intercultural trainer in the social and health care sector and. She is especially interested in innovative didactic approaches for intercultural and environmental education.
