João Costa, PhD in Multimedia Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, is lecturer in the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology of Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. He teaches in the first and second cycles subjects about informatics science (digital imaging, digital communication, GIS and online marketing). He is member of CITUR (Research Group of Tourism) and collaborates in projects of research and development in Tourism and Maritime Biology field, using external financing.
