Kyriakos Bonidis is Professor of School Education. From 2000 to 2023 he was a faculty member of the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and of many training and research programs. His scientific and research interests focus on the Pedagogy of Peace and most recently on the Pedagogy of Militant Freedom, on research and theory of school curricula, the educational process and evaluation and textbooks, on the curriculum, teaching and evaluation at the university, on methodological issues of qualitative educational research, mainly critical and post-structuralist, on internships in the teacher education program, on Intellectual History and on epistemological issues of Pedagogy / Educational Science / Educational Sciences.
